Pauline monastery, Mariupol, Donetsk oblast

The rector of the parish Fr. Pavlo Tomashevskyi OSPPE told us about the current state of the church and monastery complex. In the beginning of March, the Pauline Fathers together with the parishioners were forced to evacuate from Mariupol, they were able/managed to save the Most Blessed Sacraments and some liturgical items. After the departure of the monks, the building was robbed. In the first half of May, it was reported that the Pauline monastery was captured/seized by the occupation authorities of the so-called DPR/DNR. In early June, the occupiers left the monastery building. During this time, a shell hit the monastery at the edge of the building: the windows were broken out. As of today, the building is in fact standing, but is it impossible to obtain up-to-date information about the monastery.
