According to the press service of the Sievierodonetsk Diocese of the UOC (MP), as a result of a direct hit by a projectile, which occurred no later than June 27, 2022 (the exact date is unknown), the premises adapted to the needs of the parish of St. Varvara near the ATB store in Lysychansk were completely destroyed. The church was founded in 1991, but the first services were held only in 2011.
