At the end of February 2022 (exact date is unknown) as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation, the Chapel of St. Elijah the Prophet on the territory of Ivan Kozhedub National Air Force University of Kharkiv was damaged. The information about it was published on the official website of Kharkiv eparchy of OCU. The chapel windows were blown out, and the interiors and religious objects suffered damage.
