On June 9, 2022, as a result of military operations in Kharkiv region, the church was damaged. On the Facebook page of Izyum Diocese, a photo with damaged Church of Faith, Hope, Charity and their mother Sophia in the village of Staryi Saltiv was published. The photo shows that the central dome of the church is completely destroyed. Therefore, a part of the church roof was also destroyed. Damage to the exterior facades of the building, probably by shrapnel from a rocket, is also noticeable.
