During the shelling of the city of Lyman in Donetsk region, the Church of Reverend Lavrentius of Chernihiv was damaged (the exact date of the shelling is unknown, likely late May 2022). The church belongs to the Horlivka Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. A video showing the aftermath of the shelling was published on the diocese's YouTube channel. The footage reveals that nearly all of the church's windows were shattered as a result of the shelling.
