As reported by the website "Union of Orthodox Journalists" with reference to the press service of the Sievierodonetsk Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP), the church was damaged no later than July 12, 2022 (the exact date is unknown) as a result of shelling of the strategically important enterprise "Skloplastik". The windows and the upper part of the southern wall were damaged. The building was consecrated in 2014.
