During the church service on the 11th and 12th of March 2022, the Church of St. John the Righteous of Kronstadt of the Donets’k eparchy of UOC (MP) was shelled. The Church is located in the "Trudovyi" microdistrict. Numerous shrapnel from missiles damaged the windows, doors and walls of the church. According to the rector of the church, protopriest Oleksandr Matviiv, the church has already undergone shelling in August 2014 and was restored with the funds/at the expense of the congregation.
