On May 1, 2023, the Church of the Ascension of the Lord was damaged as a result of shelling of the city of Zolochiv, Kharkiv region. The shell that hit the church damaged the windows of the old church. The Church of the Ascension of the Lord is the monument of architecture of regional importance. The church was built in 1884.
