The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the town of Irpin, Kyiv region, was built in 2015. According to the rector of the church, Fr. Myroslav Latynnyk, the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was damaged as a result of russian shelling on March 5, 2022. The facades and dome of the church were cut with numerous pieces of shrapnel, and the glass main doors were broken out. The interiors of the church were damaged, in particular the iconostasis and the royal doors were hit by small pieces of shrapnel. The fence, gates, and paving of the churchyard show numerous signs of shrapnel strikes.
