"Due to prolonged bombardment in the city of Derhachi on April 4th, the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos, a monument of architecture of the 19th century, suffered damage. The building of the church underwent serious damage both on the outside and the inside. In the church itself, the windows were broken out; the walls and church utensils were damaged by shell fragments, but the buildings of the icon shop and Sunday school, that are part of the church territory, suffered the most from the shelling. This was reported on the official webpage of the Kharkiv eparchy of the UOC (MP). The Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos was built in 1850 in the style of late classicism."
