"From the information provided by Propriest Heorhii Taraban, Secretary of the Sumy eparchy of the UOC MP, on March 07, 2022, shrapnel from shells damaged the church building, walls and window panes on the dome, fence slabs (? "бетонні плити") and a pergola (?? "альтанка") above the column were smashed. On March 10, 2022, as a result of an air strike nearby, the central and side doors of the church were broken, and two windows were knocked out. The church was built during 1881-1900. It is a monument architecture of local significance."
