According to the report of the United Jewish Community of Ukraine, due to hostilities in the building of the former synagogue on Soborna Street, 107/1 no later than May 19, 2022 (the exact date is unknown), the windows were blown out and the wall was slightly damaged. In the period prior to January 31, 2023, the building suffered repeated damage, in particular, there is a through hole in the wall near the roof. The synagogue was built in 1909 on the site of the old wooden synagogue of 1872. In 1935, the synagogue was closed and rebuilt as a pedagogical institute, and then as a hospital kitchen.
