On March 21, 2022, the Holy Intercession Church (built in 1889) in the village of Ploske, Kyiv region, was shelled. The shelling happened during the evening service, when the bullet hit the altar and went through the entire church. The iconostasis and interior of the building were partially destroyed, the dome, roof, and windows were damaged. The church bell tower was cut with debris and the fence was partially destroyed.
