On March 19, 2022, the Irpin Bible Seminary of Evangelical Christian-Baptists (Irpin, Kyiv region) was fired upon by the Russian military, about ten shells hit its territory. The next day, March 20, 2022, from 8 to 10 am, the targeted mortar shelling of the seminary continued, as a result of which the premises, facades and interiors were destroyed and damaged, walls and doors were knocked out. A large-scale fire broke out in one of the buildings as a result of the shelling. Classes at the seminary have now resumed, and the admissions campaign for the 2022-2023 academic year began in June 2022.
