According to the message of the Sievierodonetsk Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP), as a result of shelling in May-June 2022 (the exact date is unknown), the windows in the church under construction were broken. The facade of the building adapted for worship was also completely destroyed. The former Church in honor of the apostles Peter and Paul was destroyed by the Soviet authorities in 1963.
