According to the report of the press service of the Sievierodonetsk Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate), on April 1, 2022, the fragments of projectiles shattered windows in two churches of St. Elijah’s Men Monastery. The living quarters, garage, and utility rooms of the monastery were completely burnt down.

The monastery was established by the decision of the Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) in 2005.
