During a service on February 25th 2022, a group of unknown people with weapons, wearing military uniforms and balaclavas broke into the church. The assailants beat up the priest, guard and [female] church worker. The assailants took money from the church safe, food products and household items, and also stole two cars from the clergy, which were on the church territory. The act of marauding is reported on the official website of the Donetsk eparchy of UOC (MP).
