According to the information of the Synodal Information and Educational Department of the UOC (MP), the chapel in honor of St. Nicholas at the entry to Sievierodonetsk was completely destroyed as a result of a direct hit by a projectile no later than June 22, 2022 (the exact date is unknown). The chapel is one of seven built at the entries to Sievierodonetsk on the initiative of Metropolitan Nikodym (Baranovsky) of Sievierodonetsk and Starobilsk. The chapel was built and consecrated in 2009.
