As a result of the shelling of Volnovakha, on March 16, 2022, the St. Transfiguration Church was damaged. This information was published by the press service of the Donetsk Eparchy of the UOC (MP). There is no description of the damage, however, the published photo shows that the facades, windows, roof and bell tower of the St./Holy(?!) Transfiguration Church, built in the early 21st century, were damaged.
