In March 2022, Lypivka, Kyiv region, was under Russian occupation, and the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin was damaged. Both structures in the church yard were damaged: the church itself and the new church (not yet functioning). Both buildings' facades and windows were broken. A section of the church yard fence was also knocked out.
