According to local resident Yevhen Tkachov, no later than May 12, 2022, in the village of Serebryanka, Donetsk region, Transfiguration Church came under fire. As a result of the shelling, the roof of the building was damaged, as well as the roof over the side entrance to the church. The church was built in 1754-1760 and is the oldest religious building in Bakhmut district.
